What happened to Support??

Something hasn't set well with me for a while on many post and replys that I've read. If you want to get an answer on how a product is this is the area to do so.
I've come to have a love for this market through all levels ending on where I am now. As a contractor I always based my use of what product to use on the people and quality of the product. Most important of this equation was the people. You might have a superior product come to market but without the support of key personnel it's worthless. As contractors we sell our business not strictly on product but us as a person. Therefore when I transitioned into the wholesale business I looked at supporting those products that had the personnel with knowledge, support, and by far incredible customer service. I'm now that person that supports the factory's. The one I looked to in the beginning stages for answers and knowledge. I still base my opionons on products using the same standards as before.
What it all comes down to is a simple question that should be asked. Instead of asking what do you think of this product, and being satisfied with the answer. The next step should be to find out how are they on supporting their product?
Thanks for listening.
