SHOULD THE VENT ON THE VACUUM PUMP BE THE ONLY AIR VENT?
COULD THE DANFOSS/ZONE VALVES BE SLOWING RETURNS?
COULD BAD TRAPS BE THE PROBLEM?

    Condensate Storage

Condensate tanks sometimes are undersized - by engineers and installers. Set back can make return slow, or fast.

Had the same sort of problem recently. Engineers selection of duplex tank was small and shallow. Effectively reduced the capacity by half.

A new tank would have worked. Working together we found another option. There was room in the two boilers to hold more water without comprimizing the waterline level. So we raised the LWCO settings. The system water has to be stored somewhere. So what if some of it's in the boiler. Caveat...as long as they can handle it.

Worked on this one. Maybe work on yours?
