We just found out my daughter has been accepted to the college of her choice. She wants to major in photography and applied to RIT, in Rochester, NY, which has one of the best programs in photography in the nation. (Both Kodak and Xerox hail from Rochester. Any connection? Gee ya think) Am I proud and excited? If you could see me now I'm doing the chicken walk around the room in front of the computer. I guess when the initial excitement is over we have to figure out how to pay for it. Downer man. I think I'll just stay excited for a while. Happy New Year to all my friends on the Wall. WW

That's a really fine school

and I'm happy for all of you. And don't worry about the tuition. That has a way of working itself out. In 2000, we had Holohan women at Notre Dame, Holy Cross, Providence and Loyola-Baltimore, all at the same time. Whew!

I clipped a good article from the Wall Street Journal recently. They listed www.finaid.org and www.wiredscholar.com as free, website scholarship search sites.
