Erie Valve Actuator

a foating action valve actuator Erie part number AT33A00T. My local suppliers say that Erie doesn't stock these things and so has to build it. Is this true? They're talking a month to get my hands on it! Anyone know where I might be able to get this from someone who has it in stock?
Thanks,
John T.

Erie# AT33A00T is good
Where ever you are located you should have an Erie dealer that can order it and have it for you in a few days. The above unit is a 24Vac Pop-Top, modulating (3 wire), non-spring return, with time out feature. Let me know if you cannot find a dealer.

Thanks.....
...Art, I'll check around more on Thursday and I will get back to you if I have trouble.
On another note..I see you're from Invensys. Below in the roundtables I posted about the lack of a control voltage fuse in the Erie SR601 relay panels. Sure wish there would have been one. It cost me at least $300.00 to replace the panel in time and materials. Something I'd like to avoid of course.
Seems that it would be a simple thing to include on the circuit board. I put them in myself when low voltage circuits don't have them but it's not possible when the trans is soldered to the board.
What'ya think? Drop a note to the right person?

I already noted it and will be looking into the addition of a fuse. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

I was going to say...whenever I've been in a jam for Erie parts, I've gone to Invensys. But there is a whole story behind the delays on Erie parts. I've been embarassed so many times that I quit specifying them.
FYI: I was caught in the nightmares of: (1) "We've had production problems with our Mexico plants and the casts." (2 month delay) (2) "We're moving our production facilities back from Mexico." (another month delay).
I almost lost a good customer over that one.
Has the problem been rectified? Erie makes some very nice products, but like Harley-Davidson motorcycles, they are hard to come by.

is home to Erie now. The assembly area is a short walk from where I am. Since I started last year I have heard from coworkers many times about the moving mess, coordination nightmares and how Invensys people did there best to fill orders and get good product out. Companies make mistakes and the good ones correct and improve. Current production is up and on schedule here in Illinois. We are still not perfect, each day we look for ways to improve our products and distribution. I'm sorry you got caught by our problems and hope you will give us another chance. Art0
