Just got an e-mail marked Windows XP patch. I suspect it is a virus. I know XP has had some problems, so if anyone else gets this, think twice before opening it. I deleted it after sending it to the company that I have virus software with.

Anybody that believes Microsoft or any other vendor would mass e-mail a patch of any sort deserves what they get for opening the message.

That's a virus
I get that one a few times a day.Retired and loving it.0 -
I get
viruses almost every day. My provider added a spam & virus blocker that kicks butt. They block the junk & viruses & give me the opportunity to safely view before accepting.

Good page to verify ..
if they are real or not.
This is the link to Symantec's security response center.
On the lower left of the page is the reference area. It has links to hoax and joke fake viruses. I always check when somebody sends me something about virus such and such, and I want to make sure it is real or not.
