Heating swimming pool

Anybody tried it? Exposure to the elements is not an issue because boiler will be located in corner of a patio.

the boiler is made of cast iron then the water in the pool will get pretty rusty.Retired and loving it.0 -

You would want
to consider some sort of return temperature protection, also, for that boiler. Generally pool heaters have thermostatic bypass valves built into the headers to allow them to work at pool temperatures. You could add such a valve to your boiler (thermostatic three way) or pipe a P/S and injection mix into a HX.
Lots of ways to get there. However pool heaters go pretty cheap on e-bay. Probably less $$s than the components needed to make the boiler you have work
