My town takes a hit

Always considered one of the safest communities of its size in the U.S., my hometown of Livonia was rocked yesterday by the multiple-homicides of five family members, including three children. Police theorize a possible robbery motive. It was the worst crime in the city's history.

This makes no sense and leaves me with a great many questions. For now I will say a silent prayer tomorrow during Christmas candlelight service and also pray that the perpertrators who have the cowardice to kill children will be caught and dealt with swiftly.

Hug your children and wrap your arms around them, even when you are not with them. They need us. Sorry my friends, but sometimes rage is stronger than reason -- and I am angry.
