worked on 2 pipe steam system 2 weeks ago rad was not working pulled rad replaced the valves supply 1in. return 3/4 in. valves were good but had to cut them to remove rad while rad was removed turned on heat pipe was making panting sounds eventually steam forced condensate out of pipe and steam came out put rad back in place now rad only haets about 1/2 way across my thoughts are that the pipe is sageing in the ceiling do you guys think this idea might hold water (pun intended)
