Carrier
Which one? Carrier made an Optimizer I, Optimizer II and the new Optimizer logic built into their electronic dual fuel tstat. I probably have schematics on all of these. Let me know which one you need. -DF

INFO.....
The 1 used an O.D. stat with a isolation relay on the O(reversing valve). They did not hook up W2 at tstat. They took Y from t-stat to OD stat which either went to contactor or furnace depending on setting and temp. They take O (from tstat) and common to coil side of relay. They take R and O (to heat pump) to the normally open relay contacts. This prevents backfeed. They do this to prevent furnace and H/P from running together. Make sure H/P has high pressure switch. GOOD LUCK0
