    Danfoss, but Beware

Danfoss. For 24 volt ac applications, the Danfoss TP-75 RF thermostat. You also need a receiver... they are available in either one, two or three zone capabilities Danfoss RX-1 or RX-2 or RX-3, respectively, per number of zones.

Danfoss also makes a 24 vlt DC line, intended for radiant system zones, I am told.

I had one installed several weeks ago in my home with baseboard hot water heating, ten zones with two position zone valves. I'll be posting a report of my experiences to date on this web site soon. It is working ok, but there are some quirks......

However, *DO NOT* install the receiver according to the directions furnished with the receiver......... you WILL fry the unit, according to Danfoss. Call Danfoss before installing.

    Wireless stats

Hi, John! Honeywell offers the T8665A1002, and a choice of either the W8665A1009 (ones stage heat/cool, 1 zone) or the W8665E1000 (1-3 stages heat,1-2 stages cool, conventional or heat pump, up to 3 zones. The stat can be anywhere within 200' of the receiver. Available from any Honeywell distributor. BTW...receiver wires up to the equipment like any stat. Go to http://hbctechlit.honeywell.com for a spec sheet & wiring diagram.
