Source for 1\" pipe insulation
Can anyone recommend an inexpensive (internet?) source for pipe insulation for 1" copper? Locally the big box warehouses have 1/2" and 3/4", but only in relatively thin foam. I'm looking for something for 1" pipe and a thicker foam as well. Inexpensive (but not "cheap") would be a big plus. I'll need about 100' or so.
Thanks!

Think \"out of the box\"
and head to a plumbing supply house. They should have it in at least two wall thicknesses. Considering it's an awkward size and you don't need much, shipping will really eat you up.
If I sound particularly critical of the "big boxes" it's because we just lost our next-to-last private hardware store in town to one of them. Built, I might add in a Gerrymandered, subsidized "Enterprise Zone" and served by a road that was built wholly inadequately to the intended development. Millions of PUBLIC money were spent recently to improve access to the big boys while mid- and downtown roads crumble.0
