My three year old loves Bob the Builder

I was watching with him and was happy to see the room, Bob was painting had a panel radiator.

Not only that but the panel rad had a non-electric thermostatic valve on it.

Is this good for kids television or am I wierd to notice this .

Bob the Builder!

Ran into Bob the Builder in a radiant heat customer's home while we were photographing it for this year's RPA contest. His kids were mesmerized by the show & I gotts say, I was quickly caught up in it too!

Reminded me of the Lowly Word Worm books and Mr. Fixit(G).

Nice to see we're raising up an entire generation that just might look favorably upon those who work with both their hands and minds.

I am not the only one who notices those things....I used to notice all the plumbing in my kids books too... A lot of those sinks never had traps! who let that pass on a final inspection....kpc

One of my kids books showed a backhoe with the big wheels in the front and the little ones near the backhoe.

"Daddy those wheels are in the wrong spot ( 3 yrs old )"

"You right they are Pal ".

Kids are'nt stupid, they have to be taught that.

Underfloor piping

One of the puzzles my son does involves running a pipe to a radiator. There are some floorboards removed and you have a selection of different length pipes with elbows threaded on the ends to connect to the radiator through the available floor opening.

Bob the Builder

My 2 year old grandson and his 3 year old cousin think Bob the Builder is great. They have the toys, watch the TV show & videos. They even try to re-create what they have seen Bob do...another reason to never leave them alone for a second! Maybe Bob will do for the trades what "Thomas the Tank Engine" has done for the railroads!
