workmanship, Gary. One question, where is the expansion tank connected in relation to all those pumps? Do you have a straight on picture-sorry, make that two questions.

hope that i am getting their

another small job that i am doing.all I have to finish off now is the thermostat wiring, tidying it up etc,and run the radiant up to the bathroom.,this was an old boiler and just done the pipework to it.

had a lot of fun doing this and really enjoying the work, like putting together a jigsaw puzzle.then having the chance of purging firing it all up and watching it go,slowly starting to get my head around all the different controls and finding my past 20 years in the uk coming into play.

hope you are all safe and well my friends,

looking forward to our first christmas in the USA,yippie,

    take care

    all the best

  • Had a chance

to sample our beer, yet? They serve it way too cold here; UK beer served at just below room temperature lets you get the real flavor and aroma.

Nice work, Gary. Merry Christmas to you, your wife and those sweet kids.

    All the best,

    Alan

    Hello

Gary..do you miss the weather?:) You asked for it so here goes...the circ's and the x-tank are not in order..is there no air scoop or Spirovent? This the order they should go in-pipe up out of the boiler, go horizontal, air separator, (boiler feed at that point, with the x-tank there too),then your circ's. Dan's book Pumping away covers all this and more!

    extrol location

hiya ,many thanks for the input ,the boiler was an existing installation i added onto it,their was no air scoop on this job,i would have liked to put a tee off the vertical off the boiler, with a urge tee, then a valve then the air scoop along with the make up water and extrol but alas wasn;t specified as it was an existing installation.

here is a pic of a boiler i done from the beginning.but after i had done this realised that the water make up should have been in the air scoop.

i have got another boiler installtion coming up,so hopefully it should be perfect

thanks so much as always for all the help you guys have given me,once i get it all right it will be a wonderful thing, their is another picture of a manifold i built too a little while ago

    happy holidays;

    all the best
