Looking For

for an Edwards gas fired boiler. Does anyone know if the Edwards Boiler Company is still in business, and if you can get a tankless coil for their boiler. The coil is a rectangle, about 6" wide and 12" high with 8 bolts. The only number I could read off of the boiler itself was "Catalog #630-135M". I have never heard of the Edwards company. Customer is thinking of replacing boiler like I recommended, but still wants a price to compare repairing versus replacing. The coil is not leaking now, and they said they are not having any problems, but there is alot of corrosion around the coil, and plenty of green mold.

Thanks for your help.

The company is basically defunct. We can still buy Edwards Zone valves, But as far as I know that is all they make now. Worked on many of these and a fair amount of their boilers. The company name is Edwards Engineering co. The company has had money problems and i think has now been acquired. Quite Flaky.

    Tankless coils.....

Heat Transfer Products makes/made most coils for boiler companies. You can try their website (www.htproducts.com)

I agree with the replacement ,but if your going to find a coil to repair this beast , this is your best shot. Chris
