I have installed radiant tube heaters before, they were all natural gas.I recently installed a propane unit,it was 30 feet long and a firing rate of 120,000 btuh input.I had installed a regulator(second stage) from 10 psi to 11"wc .The problem that i am having is that the tubes are plugging up completly with soot.the pressures are not bouncing ,so i am a little puzzled on why this would of happened.
thanks for all your help here

Radiant tube heaters
Well, Greetings from NZ.
That paradise in the south Pacific.
I would say that you have Natural gas jets in the heater instead of the lpg ones that you should have. Check with the manufactors rating plate label which should give the different sizes for both gases and then check what size you have installed.
