ZONE VALVE INFO

HELLO, I own the KNOLL MOTEL in Barre, Vermont. I have a forced Hot Water
Heating System & have zoned all rooms individually. This was done back in
1972. I had used the GENERAL ZON-VAL a 24 Volts- 60 CY 1.2 AMPS power head
with only a two wire hook up,it is PAT # 3,547,404, these were able to be
detached from the Brass Valve a G-420 Valve. The brand was called GENERAL
FITTINGS CO. FROM BOSTON, MASS. They have worked great all these years but
they are starting to wear out,the power head is repairable if I could be
able to locate this small 1-3/4" in total length part with two small wires,
I could rebuild these Power Heads that are bad, if I can find these 24 Volt
power pistons. Its about 1/2" round at the base by 3/4" then it has the 1"
long small tube with an inner shaft that extends out when the Heating
Element heats up the piston expands thus opening the valve, it would then
cool off and close the valve. It's part # 1882-3-88/85, this is all made
together and mounts with a C-clip. My problem is that the company that
made these great control valves is not in business any more, so I can not
locate any of these great replacement Zone-Valve power heads anymore, if I
could know what company might make a replacement part or the whole
replacement power head this would be great. I do not really want to have to
redo (Cut in new Zone Valves in all the motel rooms) on the the Heating
System at this time of the year if at all possible. If anybody has any
knowledge as to where I can locate these replacement ZON-VAL POWER HEAD BY
THE GENERAL FITTINGS CO. FROM BOSTON, MASS. Or the Part that I could rebuild
these old ZON-VAL POWER HEADS,it would be greatly appreciated. Thank-You,
