Ignorant Home Owner desires Hot water heat. and education

I am about to purchase an old two family in St Louis, built around 1910. It uses two hot water heat systems. the first floor uses a gravity system (American Standard boiler) and the second/third floor (third floor radiators have been removed) (( hoping to reinstall a couple)), uses a circulating system with a Bryant Boiler. Can you possible direct me to a book or information so that I can educate myself on the maintenance and operations of these type systems? I am planning on doing some rehabbing of this property, but hope to keep the hot water heat. I will add ducted central air systems. Any direction would be appreciated. I thank you for your time

Check out Dan's books. You're only ignorant if you don't ask questions. This is the best place in the world for you to be if you want to learn hydronics.
