Radiant track ?????

Were can I go to get the latest and greatest information regarding transfer plates. Performance, install guide etc?

The question I have now is, when useing plates under sub floor, how should the insulation be placed, right up against the plates, or 1 inch air gap or???? foil back or???

thanks in advance

    You

must leave a 1-2" air gap between the plate and the insulation. As far as which plates to use, I use RTI's 3/8" Radiant Track and you will hear alot of people tell you that they have a problem with the tubing falling out of the plate. I have yet to run into a job here in my area in which I have had this problem but I'm not saying it probably doesn't happen. This plate is by far better than those flimsey thin alum plates and will also perform much better. Now, the reason I use these plates over Wirsbo's (which is the same exact extruded plate) is that they are about $1.50 cheaper per plate through RTI.
