    I went hunting too, but

this wasn't on the list of species for the day. And even on the day, there was a limit of 0.5 oh well.

Brian in a land of strict limits :O)

    You've been

Having way too much fun Robert. Time to get back to work.

BTW. E-mail me with the name of a GOOD, distributor who stocks your stuff here in Michigan.

I've about had it with distributors. The place I bought Buderus from just informed me that they will no longer be stocking any boilers or parts. Now the closest place is over 200 miles away from me.

Ok ... the secret is out...

I knew that you were looking at ways to expand DF's packaged approach, but ...

do you really think the industry is ready for the Danfoss "Tree Harvestor" for woodfired boilers?

Enjoy the time w/ your family during the holidays,

    Smiles,

    Some triva for you...

...I like that tree harvester idea...a little trivia for you...back in the early days Danfoss actually made farm implements...and the original farm still exists in Norborg, Denmark where it all began. Young Mads Clausen invented stuff upstairs in his bedroom and rumor is he finally got booted out of the house, into the barn after the metal lathe he built upstairs came crashing through the ceiling and landed on the dining room table.

Another interesting story had to do with clothes irons...Danfoss engineers developed some of the first thermal control devices but became inundated with phone calls from housewives who couldn't figure out how to use it...it actually got so bad they sold the patent and devices to General Electric who were far more accustom to working with the retail market.

Lots of great stories about Mads...it would be fantastic someday to take everyone over to see the museum. Then we could head over into some of the worlds best control laboratories for some real fun!

Bill, all the best to you and yours.

    RB

    PS:
Here is a 1968 photo of one of the very first frequency converters to come off a Danfoss production line...in 2000 one of our drive plants won the Smithsonian Computer Award.
