I saw this last year for the first time I was at a new customers home(didn't have my camera). Just did a little service to an existing Independence boiler, Real bad near boiler piping but was very curious as to what this is and if it is still working.
I have no clue.
Anyone?

Old indirect Detroit
blower unit if I am not mistaken. Had a coil inside and a small blower to move warm air to a remote area. I may be wrong, but that is what I think it is. Detroit controls was way back they eventually became American Standard I believe. Is this thing still working?0
