My pride and Joy (Brian)

The reunion is over, my girls have gone home (except Autumn) but the new life is just beginning.

I just spent the best three weeks of my life. And it's getting better.

My beautiful 32 yr old daughter Marieke, came from NZ and met almost all of her natural family for the first time.

A lost child came home, and brought with her, more love, peace and healing than she will ever know. Our family is complete now. Our baby is back.

Our local KPLC-NBC affiliate did a story on the reunion for Thanksgiving night. It was very tastefully done, and was repeated 6-7 times over the next few days.

She is my Mother's "lost Bairn" (Scottish), Autumn's loving big sister, and the child I always grieved over.

Not anymore, we'll never be separated again. We plan on making it to NZ next year, finances permitting. I will get to meet my only grandson Benjamin and the Lady Andre who raised my daughter to be who she is today, a fine woman.

You may not realise it, but you all played a part in this. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all you do.

John Hall graciously asked if he could do a Christmas story on our get-together, naturally I agreed. It will be in the Dec issue.

Please send prayers to those who need it, and hug your children.

My sincerest regards and thanks to you all.

Brian, Marieke, Autumn, Nana Wood and sisters Linda & Jacquie.

I'm bumping this up, because my daughter may visit and I'd hate it to fall off.

Thanks, Brian.

    That gives me

a very warm feeling, Brian. Thanks.
    Retired and loving it.
  • No, thank you Dan

and all who sent their best wishes.

I'm bumping this back to the top because Marieke might visit to read what I said about her.

We are where we are now because of everything we have done in the past.

The Wall is part of my past.

    Thanks again, fella's.

    Brian.
