can someone tell me if this is correct one gallon of water weighs 8.33 lbs

At 60 degrees F...
there are 8.3378 lbs of water in a US gallon.0 -
hey, i've always thought it was 8.345404 #/gal
..and to think, all these years, i was off by 0.007604 #/gal???
