I bet the homeowner was shocked at how fast they went from a dry fire to hot rads again . Thats pretty quick to get all that done by 1 . And a zone off the bottom too . The customer didnt want to go for another Peerless ?

    Hey Ron

It was 3 of us.Each one of us had our own dept to do and it goes preety quick.Plus a packaged gold cut alot of time of the top.About the peerless my supply house only has the ect line and that was overkill here.Would have put in a series 8 smith but could not get one till monday.Have one tuesday 6 section 8 series smith going in have a leaking idea tonight I just came back from steam of course. It is that time of the year.

    Joe,
It's hard to tell- is there enough clearance at the flue pipe to the wall stud? Looks kinda close in the pic.

I know it looks kind of close in the pictures but there is plenty of room to the studs.

    Joe ?

why the reducing coupling on the riser. I thought the boiler companys wanted full size fronm the boiler to the header. Would'nt you be worried about wet steam ?

On all of my gold I go to 2 inch.I have never had any problem with wet steam out of these units.I do agree that most companies want you to go with full size and we do most of the time.Just one mans opinion
