Quiet power vent hot water heater

I need to replace a 50 gallon water heater with a power vent model. It's in a finished basement so I want something that's as quiet as possible. Suggestions?

will you need to run the vent pipe?

If you are next to the wall that the vent will terminate, you may want to consider the Bradford-White direct vent. It is sealed combustion and prices out about the same as a power vent.

It's in the middle of the basement. Up 2-3 feet, one 90 degree elbow and then a straight shot 13 feet to the wall.

i installed a state power vent

75 gallon today, and was astounded at how loud it was...manufacturers take note...loud-no good.
