While delivering some literature on radiators to a customer, I went to the equipment area. Over 95% of the homes we service are forced air, and I don't have the opprotunity to see that many hydronic systems (residential). I always carry a camera with me just for these opprotunities. I noticed the Taco pump was incorrectly mounted, I was there to deliver literature and didn't want to open a can of worms for another contractor. I'm not that knowledgeable on piping, (but am learning thanks to the Wet Heads and Dans books). While down there One boiler would fire, water temp reached 175, went off on limit, then the other boiler would do the same. This process repeated all the time I was down there. Before I ask our Foreman to look at this, I would appreciate some input as to if it's a good idea to ask him to look at it. I don't want to waste his time. Thank you.
