Blower motor and coil down

Man, I seem to get all the you know what jobs!
I found an Armstrong self-contained unit where the Blower
motor, capacitor, and cond. coil actually melted!!!
Job is Oil fired outdoor unit.
Don't know if the high limit failed and cooked it all or if it was an electrical problem. All the wiring melted also!
The circuit breaker never tripped out.
Anybody ever see anything like this?

melted wiring
could be water got to wiring saw that last winter due to water leak not preety

Blower meltdown
I don't know if water caused the problem. Don't know exactly what caused it to meltdown.
Water may have shorted out the wiring, but the motor,capacitor, and cond. coil were melted. Never saw this before!
