Help...Thanks for getting back to me guys
Let me start over I have a Weil McLain SGO 6 Boiler a two pipeO-E Vapor lock system 13 radiators with no vents on them. 3 Radiators have replacement Valves on the supply pipe not vents. The returns on the system were replaced by a Hoffman #4a Steam main vent (replaced O-E air exhausters.) The system ran out off water in 26 days approximately. Where did the water go? Because or mineral build up Weil McLain says it is not good to fresh water feed the system or put a Auto water feeder on it. The old boiler HARDLY EVER NEEDED to have water added to it. How Can I test the system for leaks not the boiler? The air vents on the returns seem to release quite often. Should they vent often I never heard the old vent ever.
