most all of them have thermal imaging camera's. Tell them your having a problem, lets say "you have a safety concern" and ask if they could send someone out and check it with their camera. Most departments don't use them that much and might jump at the chance to play with it. good luck!

Just an idea...
...but why don't you try it yourself first?
If you have an infra-red gun, you can give it a shot. I have tried this before, with success. All you have to do, is to fill your system with warm water, which you normally already have anyways. Then walk over the suspected area and shot the floor with your infra-red gun. Technically, the area with the leak, will have one big blurp of high temperatures, where areas without the leak, you will actually see the temperature of the floor inrease where the pipes are run.
Just an idea.
I hope this helps.

leak detection
You might try isolating the zone(s) and perform an air pressure test to @ 60+ psig then scan with an ultrasonic detector. The detector is fairly expensive but might be available thru a contractor in your area. You might check with UE Systems, Inc. at 800-223-1325 to see if any contractors in your area are equipped to perform this work. We have used this in our operation very successfully.
