in a memo from W.M. dated 11/21. Please be advised that effective today, Weil-McLain has terminated all discussions with Home Depot. It sounds like the message was heard loud and clear. Good job to those who weighed in with their opinions.

Saying No
After hearing Dan speak about the "Keystone" co and their intentions to give boilers away, do you think we can achieve the same goal? Weil-Mclain listened for now, but will they say the same to them down the road?

hmmm....
sounds like to me that good ole orange probably wanted a "less expensive" version of their boiler, problem being how do you make a plastic heat exchanger that won't melt?

freebies
are usually worth what you pay for them. I would like to hear from some of the homeowners who have taken Keyspan up on their " Free Boiler offer ". How was your experience? Did you convert from oil to gas to get the free boiler. Are your utility costs higher now that you can't negotiate with a local oil company for a competive price? My sense is that if you research the options, free is probably not your best long term option.0
