New national fuel gas code

I just attended the combined AGA/NFPA meeting on the 2002 national fuel gas code code changes, real gas geek stuff, I enjoy it. The pipe sizing examples have changed but the big change is eliminating the "Confined space" definition used for years. Now the air changes per hour ACH the KAIR method decides how much air is needed, could be more or could be less than the old 1/20 rule which is now the "standard method". And, air openings from inside and outside can be added if necessary. I would strongly advise getting the code from AGA rather than NFPA since although the words are the same the font choices make the gas piping tables easier to read for the older eyes crowd. The code has been completely renumbered and made more ISO like so make sure you know what year the code being referred to is if you speak on the phone about a question.
