hw zone off steam boiler noisy

Member Posts: 3
I installed a hw zone on my steam boiler to feed new space on my third floor. I have two circs pushing the water, and used 3/4 inch copper. It clangs loudly during colder days and nights. I have no bypass line in it...would installing such a line eliminate some or all of the noise? Any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

It needs a bypass
and there's probably no reason for two pumps in series. You're not lifting the water to the top; it's circulating.

On the bypass, can I use standard tees or do i need a monoflow on the return side?
