A drawing of your reversing arrangement for looooong radiant loops. Got the dreaded homeowner call today. 1000 square feet of slab with one loop!

Along with ME's photo and text

"Works like a champ. I have a 24 volt relay that is paralleled to the zone valve motor. When that zone calls, the 24 volt relay activates the Graingers (120 volt) repeating time delay relay and the relay flip flops it's position every fifteen minutes. Flow goes in one direction for fifteen minutes, then switches direction for fifteen minutes, and so on and so forth and so backwards."

    Thanks Dan...

I have to give credit where credit is due. DVW (Dave Van Wickler) came up with the concept. I just applied it. I now have it in three homes and the end users are extremely happy. I did have to adjust the run time upwards in some cases, but it still works like a champ.

    G'Luck HR.

Quote from a homeowner with a 1,000 foot loop "Why don't they put some instructions on the box that this stuff comes in??"

    Have a good Friday!
