1 1/2\" left hand thread nipples

figger'd out that the tapping on the one side is left hand thread....

Anyone know where I can get some of the nipples that are left hand by right hand thread????

I've never met a plumbing supply house that didn't carry left and right nipples and couplings

You must not....

go under the river much. I am in NJ and I didn't know what a "left & right" was til I started to work in NYC. If I went into any of my local supply houses they would look at me like I have two heads if I asked for one. I even worked in a suppy house before I started in the trade.

If i am correct, the reason one side is left hand thread is that it was part of a larger radiator at one time and a section has been removed. That was an intermmediate section at one time. R-L nipples we use all the time for gas pipe modifications as unions are not allowed. Never tried using a intermmediate end as the end of a radiator. ?? will be interested how it goes.

left hand bushings

I needed one of these and couldnt locate any or anyone
who could point me in the right direction. So I had one of
my comercial customers make a box of brass 1 1/2" left by
3/4 right threaded hex head bushings many left over.
