inside of boiler

What is on the inside this boiler? Its service tag indicates 510 sq ft of hot water and I think steam 320 sq ft. I believe it has two compartments inside of it? One for the hot water and one for heat?

Although now I have a seperate hot water heater I still believe my water flows thru here before going my hot water heater. When I turn the boiler off for the spring/summer it feels like a slight loss of water pressure. Does that make sense?

    The Sq. Ft ratings

    Are the ability of the boiler to heat. They are calculated ratings from the factory for that particular boiler. Your photo does not show piping on the boiler. Depending on the situation of that piping we may be able to tell what is happening with your hot water supply. Bigugh
