cracked sections
sounds like low return temps you need to install a bypass between the supply and return the owner of local supply house recommends a 3/4 line between supply and return with ball valve to throtle amount of water thru bypass0 -

Are they staged fired...
with each boiler having it own circulator and piped Primary/ Secondary? This popular installation configuration leads to both cold shock from cold system return temps, and hot shock whan a cold boiler is staged on and the system is already hot. Been replacing alot of cracked boilers due to this piping layout.
