79 gallons that weigh 8.3 lbs per gallon = 655 lbs of water to heat. / how hot do you want it? / what is the inlet temp (cold start)? / What is the size of the boiler? / Now at 1 btu per pound of water will raise the temp 1 * F . what time did you need this heated? bigugh

does anyone know how many btu to allow for a st-300 indirect heater? what would the boiler water delta t be at full load? i am trying my hand at sizing a primary main for a system as shown in Dan's book primary& secondary pumping made easy. thanks0
