Here are some examples of chairs. The purpose is to place the tube in the middle of the pour. If you depend on the concrete guys to lift the mesh, guess what. It doesn't always happen! Or else they lift to high and the saw cuts may be a problem.
The chairs with continous bottom rails work best. They don't compromise the insulation and vapor barriers, if carefully installed.

This crew
placed that much mud in under 3 hours. I used 2 inch chais to hold the tube mid way in the 6" slab, as best as possible. Much safer than lifting the mesh
The stamp worked nicely. The finisher cleaned it up a bit more.
Last but not least the dreaded saw cuts :0.

Nice Stamp
I hope it won't be covered by carpet.
What boiler are you going with; I hope it's condensing; maybe even some outdoor reset?
Nice work.

what's a
2" chais? I see the picture but I don't know the item.
I've always zip tied to mesh and left it for the concrete crew. Lucky so far but I know I could improve.

I like
that the stamp was on centerline. Such concern for dimension!!

Stamp reminds me
of sidewalks in Denver, CO. At least in the older parts those who poured them were required to mark their work for posterity.
Considering their age and the weather, most seem in extremely good condition.
It's a terrible misfortune that your (Hot Rod) concern, dedication, knowledge and aspiration haven't traveled 200 miles East.0 -
Lounge chairs
Hot Rod always goes that little extra. He went to the extra expense of lifting the mesh with chais lounges, very chic. Nice job HR, Enjoy...Dan

Part two
of the pour is tomorrow AM. The stamp looks great with a bit of dust in the letters.
The ClipTie once again saved me hours this morning. I'll bring one for the raffle.
I use Kitec for the sleeves in Halloween colors, of course. I went with a temporary test manifold as they will be erecting block walls around this location. Masons can be pretty rough on plastic pipe and manifolds.
