Hey there...
If I want to do a SYSTEM BYPASS (not a boiler bypass) and I pump away with 2 circ. zones, I want to take the bypass line off after the circulators, right? What if there are 2 circs, do I need a bypass line after each one or will just one do? Thanks!

System Bypass
PJ,
If you choose to install a system bypass on each loop, then you will have to install a bypass on each zone after it's respective pump returning back to the return side of the system. I am a bit confused why you are looking for a system bypass. Do you have a gravity concersion job with big pipes or possibly a low water content boiler?

Consider
primary/secondary pumping. Put the boiler on a primary loop with system bypass. Do secondary as a manifold with two zones off it.

Normally
a boiler bypass would handle the large mass system without any discernable loss in flow through the system and it would certainly be easier to pipe than the system bypasses. As Mark has mentioned below, a much better way would be primary secondary piping with a boiler loop and boiler injection per drawing below. Hope this helps.

or simplify slightly
by collapsing the injection primary loop and boiler secondary loop into a single boiler primary loop with an ESBE TV 3-way valve to control a "system" bypass loop.

The most important part
is a means to sense the return temperature to the boiler, regardless of the piping layout.
While I prefer primary secondary from a hydraulic standpoint, you would still need a control or thermostatic mixer at the boiler to sense and react to the return temperature or you have failed to adequately protect that boiler.
