I don't know if you guys feel like this or not but after having been doing this, and by this i mean radiant , Viessmann etc for almost half of my life. I keep hankering for something new. Something beyond , the next technology leap. Any of you like that???? I'm pumped about fuel cell technology and the public interest is heating up as well, last weekends homeshow had a few people comming up and asking about them. I'm intrigued but we are mostly oil her so the options will be limited. Had one guy who is a scientist (at WPI ithink)come by and wants to do some radiant. I told him we could tie into almost any heat source , oil, gas, wood, solar, he said "how about my nuclear reactor" I laughed he said, "no i'm serious i have goverment liscence for my own small nuclear reactor!"
Now that would be cool!! You know what I'm saying though, it's like been there done that all the time. So what's the next big thing will it be fuel cells?? Or something else?

Our company is going to install
our first hydrogen fuel cell. It will be on an existing fire station here in Denver. It's a Plug Power unit and will use natural gas as its hydrogen source.
Over two years ago, I sent an e-mail to Plug Power telling them we were interested in doing prototypical work with them, and viola, we are.
My partner reviewed the job and wrote the contract, so I honestly haven't the foggiest idea as to the scope of our services. I do know that we'll be pre-heating their DHW with the excess heat generated by the cell.
I'll make sure we get pictures for ya'll at the Wall.
I hear what you're saying Joel, I'm ready for something different, something new.
