my new pad came equipped w/a Martin Industries parlour heater as it's main heat,(oh well..) replaced the thermocouple, pilot didn't stay lit. replaced the gas valve and got heat. i'm almost happy...except the burner goes,"thup..thup...thup..thup.",which is very annoying and doesn't give me a great deal of confidence in my sole source of heat. also seems to be a little delayed ignition. i cleaned the tube, perhaps not thoroughly enuff. any thoughts as to what's going on? i'm not a gas guy,oil is more my area of service experience. thanks ,

Have your propane company
check it out. It sounds like the burner is not lighting correctly. Do you have a CO tester? If so make sure it is safe or leave it shut off until someone with GAS experience checks it out.0
