Visio Technical Question

I have been using Vision Technical 2000 for a couple years. I have not had any formal training, and continue to discover the Application's finer capabilities with a "hunt & peck" approach. A while back, a thread discussed an RPA seminar on Visio's majic by someone who worked for a Chicago Supply House. Anything further on that? My question is(for those who use Visio): When laying out tubing, is it possible to determine total loop length without clicking on segments and adding with a calculator. Can the program accumulate loop segments and provide a total(as in AutoCad)? I have not been able to discover this capability.

Visio: Tools/Macros/Visio Extras/Shape Area and Perimeter
Using the shift key and clicking on each segment will produce a total when using the tool in the file mentioned in the subject title. Start with Tools, then go to Macros, then to Visio Extras and ultimately use the Shape Area and Perimeter tool.
I prefer to make each loop one continuous line, so that I don't have to add anything up. Yeah, the damn tool is hidden way down under, but it is one of the most useful ones, IMO.
