Steam and hot water heat - whats the best way to do this

There is an existing 5 section Arco steam boiler with 2 zones of heat off a sidearm coil - one zone is baseboard , one zone is radiant . The steam side consists of two 2 inch headers that wrap the house , but they only supply 4 radiators . The customer is adding on another 1200 sq ft addition , and will heat it with 2 more zones of baseboard . There is a gas heater for hot water

What would you think is the best way to upgrade the house - One steam boiler with a sidearm for the water zones ? Or a steam boiler with a coil and storage tank for the water heat ? Maybe an indirect in the same application ? Changing the whole house to water heat would be tricky , so we are trying to make that a last option .

I would think a smaller steam boiler rated just for the steam side , and a separate water boiler for the 3 water zones and radiant zone would be the best bet - but I wanted to run this project through the experts . Thanks in advance .

One boiler sized for the steam, and one for the water.
