Burnin' ring of fire!!

I just finished installing my new MZ Monitor and the thing is sweet! Quiet, condensate pouring out the drain. Don't have the Tekmar 363 wired up yet- but will post pictures when I do. I know it's going to pain Steamhead to know it- but we tore out the circa 1931 American-Standard steam beast that was in the basement (can you believe 2256 lbs of cast iron in 4 sections?) Now have an Ergomax for DHW, MZ25C for space heating and DHW, converted all rads to H20 with new air vents, valves and gutted the Trane steam traps. The people that had the house before us were paying $2200 per heating season!!! On a house with 91,000 BTU/hr heat loss at 1 degree. Northern Indiana is not that cold!!! Insulated the house, cut heat loss to 58,000 per hour, changed from steam to hot water, got about the highest efficiency boiler I'm aware of- gonna see how long it takes the gas company to call and want to change the meter!!! :) See some of you guys later this week at ISH> Later, Luke
