The story was about radiators. There are some terrific photographs and breezy copy about what you can and can't do. It's geared toward decorators and there's a sidebar that answers the questions that most homeowners ask. That's where I came in. The writer asked me a lot of questions and we talked for an hour or so. Most of what I told her didn't make it into the magazine.

But here's the thing. They have a Where to Find It guide in the back of the magazine. Each article leads the reader to the guide, and that's where we got "Special thanks to Dan Holohan of HeatingHelp.com 800-853-8882."

So think like a homeowner who's having heating problems. You read the name of this site: HeatingHelp.com. What are you going to do?

And that's why our phone is ringing off the hook. It's also why I had more than 700 emails waiting for me when I returned from vacation last week. Most of them were from homeowners looking for contractors.

And I sent every one of those people to Find a Contractor. That's part of my job - to hook up homeowners with the FaC people.
