Radiant Heat Problems

Options
Hello! I am a home owner with an in-slab radiant heat system The house is a loooong ranch. The floors @ the end of the house with the boiler are very hot, but the other side of the house is dead cold! Can you fix radiant heat systems that are in poured concrete? Any info or contractor contact would be greatly appreciated. I am in Southern New Hampshire, USA.

Thanx

    Question # 1..........

Radiant heat is installed with tubing(duh).......The tubing is installed in loops. Each end of the loop will be at a manifold or manifolds.Loops are limited to certain lengths(maximum)depending on the diameter of the tubing.

You should be able to study your tubing where it comes out of the slab and into the manifold to read what the diameter of the tubing is.The tube also has a linear footage reading every 3' on the tube. This lets the installer know how much tube is being installed/loop.So for example your starting # on a loop may read 750' and where it returns you may see 1000' more or less. All this is providing your tube is exposed and you are able to read it.

All this said give us the length and width of your heated slab and how many loops you see.If you can see if you can distinguish the length of each loop.
