You can no longer vent a 2PV into a natural vent chimney. Years ago, when it first came out, it was available with a natural vent adapter. It is no longer certified for chimney installation. You do have some other choices though. Depending on the height of your chimney opening, you can either use the Series 2 and move the vent damper to the horizontal right after the elbow and gain a few inches. The other thing you can do is use an Independence boiler with water trim and controls. The draft hood on this model is incorporated off the rear of the boiler and gains you several inches of height. Many of our distributors stock this in Semi-Pak form where you add either steam or water trim to make it what you want. Hope this helps.

I was unaware that the natural vent option was no longer available. I'm going to just plan on power venting to the outside, as the masonry chimney opening is only 42" from the floor to the bottom of the opening.
