    Just curious , why does it have to be a Amtrol 91?

    This is an older valve and is no longer manufactured by Amtrol. However, the Thrush company may have a replacement. They can be reached at 800-755-8110. Best of luck.

    amtrol zone valve problems

    WHy would the valve turn on but not turn off when the thermostat is lowered?  When ON, it does not necessary trigger the boiler, but the valve itself will not dial to closed position.



    Its does not feel stuck as I can thumb dial it around - at which time it turns itself until it is back on again.  And the gear is not worn.



    Is it a bad relay?
