Toilet bolts

Many years ago I renovated our local Library and when I went to pick the toilets up they didn't have any bolts. I looked at the two of them for the longest time and finally smashed one. It was actually screwed to the flanged. I saved the second one and I believe my late Father-In-Law donated it the the Charles Manoog Museaum in Worcester, Ma. Anyone have an idea what make they were. The town I live in is an old mill town and the mill owners built and maintained everything and did very good work. The Library is an old stone building built in the early 1900's.
