    WTNY

Well Dan we here in Red Sox land will let you borrow our copywritten phrase "Wait till next year". I do have to admit that Derek Jeter is the classiest active ballplayer.

    I'm with you, Cheese

I actually lost sleep over this thing last night. I feel relieved now. It's all over.

Now I can look forward to the Jets game!

He does everything cool. Any chance we could trade Manny (I don't run for anything) Ramirez for him? We could convert Nomar to a second baseman.

    No,

Nomar is the second classiest player. What a dynamic duo they would make.

    Tiger trade

What if we trade the entire Tiger's roster (including Toledo) to the Yanks for Jeter? Oh forget it, too one-sided.

    Go Braves

Hey, the Braves are ahead in their series 2-1 in the division. Do y'all see the dingers Castilla and Lockhart hit out? Wow.

As much as I like the Yankees (seriously!), I'm happy they are out. If the Braves make it, they have some kind of mental block against them....

    I'm going with

the Cardinals at this point. Tino Martinez will represent the Yankees!

    I would love

to see the Braves go all the way. Maddux is the poster boy for hard work and deserves another shot. But then anyone but the Yankees would be my pick. By the way, are the Yanks eliminated yet-lol.

    Give it to the Cards

Win it for DK. And all of the other Dads, like me, who don't want to leave our kids just yet.

    cards

Dan: It's in the Cards! We went to Saturday night's game and you would not believe the noise for Tino. This guy didn't do much in this series offensively, just great D as usual. During the regular season though, he did both. You should have heard the crowd : Tino, Tino, Tino .... faster and faster and faster when he came up to bat. If he gets hot, watch out!

Bet the Braves wished they had Tino instead of that dinosaur Franco. I just witnessed the last game of the Braves' dynasty last night.
