In an effort to improve the the HVACR votech program in Oakland County (MI) schools, The NEWS and Oakland Schools are working on adding curriculum and instructors to secondary votech schools. A meeting to discuss the program is on Monday, Oct. 14th in Royal Oak, MI at 5:30 - 8:00. There will be a buffet dinner served and program afterward, all free of charge. The entire NEWS editorial staff will be in attendance and we encourage anyone interested in the future of HVACR education and ways to bring young people into this industry to attend.

I know there may not be many Detroit-area visitors here but if you are interested or know of anyone who might like to attend, please contact NEWS editor James Siegel at jamessiegel@achrnews.com by Monday, Oct. 7th.
